Kasaragod: In a tragic accident, a scooter rider died after accidentally falling underneath a KSRTC bus on Tuesday here. 

The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Fazil Thabsheer (22), hailing from Mogral Puthur in Kasaragod. 

The accident happened around 11 am at MG Road near the old bus stand. Thabsheer, who tried to overtake the bus, lost balance and fell beneath the moving vehicle. He died on the spot.

He is a Muslim Youth League member.
