Kozhikode: With the Union government releasing CAA notification ahead of LS Polls, opposition parties have started protesting across the country accusing the BJP government of trying to subterfuge the entire elections.
In Kozhikode, Youth Congress workers expressed their dissent by blocking the Malabar express train on Monday night. The agitated workers climbed on top of the train engine. A few of them sat on the railway track as well raising slogans.
Owing to the agitation, the train started its journey 10 minutes late from the station. In the meantime, the protestors had even erected Youth Congress flags on the Malabar Express.
Police arrived at the scene to disperse the protestors and make way for the train.
