Thiruvananthapuram: Embright Infotech Startup, under the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), is gearing up to develop ‘Auticare’ system, an artificial intelligence-based assistive technology to help differently abled with autism-spectrum disorders manage life situations.
With the assistance of Kudumbashree, the system will be set up in BUDS schools and 10 other schools centred around local bodies.
The major component of the Auticare is a headset that provides training through sound and touch. It can be used by those above 5 years of age.
In addition, Auticare provides training to more than 20 activities related to daily life. It will also facilitate therapy sessions for the differently abled by therapists and specialised teachers.
Embright Infotech Startup is headed by Sathyanarayanan AR and Bobin Chandra. The Auticare team cpmprises Ajisha B, Teena GM, Jovana Jamea, Amalu K Ajith, Sanu, Jose, Shankaranarayanan AR and Vijay Krishnan R.
