Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran stated that the party will protest strongly if the government attempts to suppress the protest against it by declaring section 144.
He said that the protests will continue and that the government cannot escape by stopping the public from voicing their opinions.
Surendran said that Unlock 5 law is being implemented throughout the country. Why is there a different law in Kerala? There will be continuous protests in the coming days by adhering to COVID protocols. Unlike Congress party, BJP will not accept the implementation of section 144 in the state, K Surendran added.
Surendran also said that Ramesh Chennithala must clarify what kind of help he received from Santhosh Eappen. The BJP leader said that he will respond on the issue after that.
