Mannarkkad: Malli, the mother of Attapadi tribal youth Madhu who was murdered in 2018, said she would appeal in court until all accused are punished in the case.
She was reacting to the media after a Palakkad Special Court found 14 out of 16 accused guilty in the murder case.

Madhu's sister Sarasu remarked that her brother would not get justice until all accused received punishment. By thanking the court, she added that the family is happy with the ruling. The family also plans to file an appeal to punish those acquitted by the court.
The family claimed they had requested police protection after facing threats. They also thanked those who stood with them, including police officers.
Earlier today, a Mannarkkad Special Court for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe found 14 accused in the Madhu Murder Case guilty of charges under IPC 304(2) for culpable homicide.
The accused are Husain, Maraikkar, Shamsudeen, Radhakrishnan, Abubacker, Siddique, Ubaid, Najeeb, Jaijumon, Muneer Sajeev, Satheesh, Hareesh and Biju. The quantum of punishment will be announced on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the fourth and eleventh accused, Aneesh and Abdul Kareem, have been acquitted by the court. Aneesh was accused of capturing and propagating Madhu’s visuals of the attack on social media.
