Three students in Wayanad had a narrow escape as wild elephant chased them late at night

Pozhuthana (Kerala): Panic gripped Pozhuthana on Wednesday night after a wild elephant chased three students from near the Pozhuthana LP School all the way to their homes. The alarming incident occurred around 11 pm.
The students, identified as Rihan, Rizwan, and Sabir, all studying in Plus Two, managed to escape unharmed. They were forced to flee on foot as the elephant charged towards them. The chase began near the Pozhuthana LP school and continued all the way to their houses.
In its rampage, the elephant damaged several two-wheelers and other parked vehicles. CCTV footage capturing the students’ desperate escape and the elephant’s movements has now surfaced.
Reports suggest that more than one elephant had entered the town. Other CCTV clips have emerged showing elephants walking close to residential areas.
