65-year-old voter collapses and dies after voting in Thrissur during Kerala elections.

Thrissur (Kerala): A man collapsed and died after casting his vote in the assembly election at booth number 37 at Vaniyampara EKM UP School on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Vinod (Unni Chekkan), 65, a resident of Kombada Ramanchira.
The incident occurred around 10:45 am. Vinod reportedly felt unwell after casting his vote. While polling officers were assisting him into a wheelchair, he collapsed. Despite being rushed immediately to Thrissur District Hospital by ambulance, he could not be revived.
He is survived by his wife, Mallika.
