Kottayam: SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan has launched a scathing attack against Congress. He accused the Congress of compromising its ideology for appeasing its ‘vote bank’. The veteran SNDP leader made the statements while addressing the gathering at a meeting in Vaikom.
“See how long it took for the Congress to decide on whether to attend the ram temple consecration ceremony or not! Now, here we are talking about a party that helped us gain independence. I feel sad,” said Vellappally. He also took a dig at Rahul who is expected to contest from Wayanad.
“Since I talk about things openly, people feel that I am promoting casteism and communalism. I always tell the truth. The political parties in our country are compromising on their ideologies and are busy pleasing their ‘vote banks’ purely for electoral gains,” added Natesan.
