UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 results announced; Kozhikode’s Ajay Raj secures 109th rank.

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday announced the results of the Civil Services Examination 2025, with candidates from Kerala figuring in the list of successful aspirants.
Among the successful candidates, Malayali aspirant S Shruthi secured the 18th rank. Siddharth M Joy, also from Kerala, secured the 271st rank. Siddharth had earlier secured the second rank in the Kerala Administrative Service examination.
JS Sreeja, a native of Naruvamoodu in Thiruvananthapuram, secured the 57th rank.
Ajay R Raj from Kozhikode secured the 109th rank. Ajay R Raj’s achievement has drawn particular attention as he is a differently-abled candidate with a congenital visual impairment.

Civil Services Examination
The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually in three stages — preliminary, main and interview — by the UPSC to select officers for services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
According to the Commission, the candidature of 348 recommended candidates has been kept provisional.
The Centre had earlier reported 1,087 vacancies to be filled through the Civil Services Examination.
The UPSC said it has a “facilitation counter” near the examination hall on its campus to assist candidates.
Candidates can obtain any information or clarification regarding their examinations or recruitments on working days between 10 am and 5 pm in person or over the telephone numbers 23385271, 23381125 and 23098543.
“Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of result,” the statement said.
