Nattika(Thrissur): A two-headed calf with two mouths and four eyes has drawn crowds in Nattika, fascinating locals and visitors alike.
The rare birth happened during a cow’s second delivery at the residence of a man named Ganesan, near SN College, Nattika, with a veterinarian assisting after complications arose.
The calf, born on Monday evening, has been unable to stand due to the heavy weight of its two heads. The family is now feeding the calf by hand, milking the cow, and carefully pouring the milk into its mouth.
Ganesan and his wife, Usha, who have been raising cows for 30 years, said this is the first time such a calf has been born in their herd. At present, the calf is struggling even to walk.
