
Feroke: The Kozhikode regional review meeting chaired by Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will begin on Thursday at Feroke Marina Convention centre.
The preparations for the meeting were evaluated by minister Mohamed Riyas. He was accompanied by district collector A Geetha, sub collector V Chelsasini, assistant collector Prateek Jain, ADMC Muhammed Rafeeq and other officials.

Discussion on several developmental projects will be held in the meeting. This includes the constructions of coastal and hill highways, and the proposed Wayanad tunnel project and inland waterway. The meeting will also review the progress of initiatives such as the Garbage-Free Kerala, Green Kerala Mission, Life Mission, and the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Pressing issues in the neighbouring districts of Kannur, Wayanad and Kasaragod districts will also be discussed in the meeting. Kozhikode is hosting the last and final regional review meeting of the year. Prior to this, review meetings were held in the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Ernakulam.
Top administrative officials of the state including the chief minister, chief secretary, district collectors, and senior police officers will be present in Feroke on Thursday as part of the meeting.
