Thiruvananthapuram: Nava Kerala Mission coordinator TN Seema was appointed as the principal secretary. The cabinet also approved the appointment of a driver and office assistant on contract basis for three years. 

An official explanation regarding the appointment specified that the position of principal secretary was granted to ease scheduling high level meetings. 

There will be no changes in salary and other allowances. Seema was entrusted with the charge of mission coordinator in September. Nava Kerala Mission was formed to coordinate the schemes, including Haritha Keralam, Aardram, Life and Comprehensive Educational Rejuvenation Programme.
