Palakkad: Three young men lost their lives in a tragic bike accident at Paruthippulli in Kottayi, Palakkad. The deceased have been identified as Surjith (23) from Kariyamkode, Akash (23) from Paruthippulli, and Ashwin (23) from Pazhayakalekkad in Kottayi.

The accident occurred when the bike they were traveling lost control and crashed into a wall.

The three had gone to attend the festival at Kandettharakavu Bhagavathi Temple in Kottayi on Sunday. After the event, they were on their way to drop Akash home at around 1 a.m. on Monday when the accident happened.

The speeding bike rammed into the wall of a house near the Paruthippulli Village Office. Akash and Surjith died on the spot, while Ashwin succumbed to injuries later at Thrissur Medical College Hospital on Monday morning.
