Thodupuzha, Kerala: A charred body was found inside a burnt car in Perumankandam, Thodupuzha, on Saturday. The vehicle, a Maruti 800, belonged to Sibi, a former bank employee and resident of Kumaramangalam, whose house is located just four kilometres from the incident site.
The car was found in a desolate area near the main road, with flames spreading to nearby patches of land. Firefighters and local residents worked together to extinguish the blaze.
According to initial investigations, police suspect that Sibi himself was driving the car before it caught fire. Relatives stated that Sibi had left his home earlier in the day, saying he was heading to a nearby shop to purchase supplies.
The exact cause of the fire remains unclear, and police have launched a detailed investigation with the help of forensic experts.
