Her relatives also claimed that she had earlier informed her mother about the alleged harassment.

Thiruvananthapuram: A man has been remanded to judicial custody after being arrested in connection with the death of his wife, 27, at their home near the Vizhinjam Community Health Centre.
Abhilash was arrested after police registered a case of abetment of suicide. He was produced before a court, which remanded him to custody.
Vigneshwari was found hanging from a ceiling fan inside the house on Tuesday evening. Police said she was alone at home when the incident occurred.
Her father-in-law returned later in the evening and found the house locked. After repeated calls to Vigneshwari went unanswered, he sought the help of a neighbour. They broke a windowpane to look inside the house and found her hanging.
Suicide note recovered during investigation
Police said they recovered a suicide note from Abhilash's room as part of the investigation.
According to the note, Vigneshwari alleged that her husband frequently returned home intoxicated and subjected her to repeated abuse. Her relatives also claimed that she had earlier informed her mother about the alleged harassment.
The note reportedly urged investigators to examine her mobile phone, stating that it contained evidence related to her allegations. It also said she had photographed injuries she allegedly sustained during an earlier assault by her husband and stored the images on the device.
According to the note, Vigneshwari wrote that she could no longer continue living in the house. She also stated that she had not spoken publicly about her situation because her father is a heart patient.
