Kozhikode: Thamarassery bishop Remigiose Inchananiyil has made his stand clear for the upcoming local body elections.  Those who back the farmers will get our votes, he made it clear.

The farmers are being neglected and justice is denied to them. The farmers are affected by many issues like buffer zone, wild animal attacks, EIA among others. The farmers associations have urged a special Assembly session to be convened and discuss these issues. All ministers and leaders will be intimated about this through letters.

The coming LSG polls will address the issues faced by the farming community in a large scale, he said.
