Thiruvananthapuram: The survivor in the Rahul Mamkootathil case has filed a fresh complaint against social media activist Rahul Easwar, alleging cyber harassment and violation of bail conditions by posting another abusive video on social media.
In her complaint, the survivor has demanded that legal steps be initiated to cancel Rahul Easwar’s bail, stating that he breached the court-imposed conditions by once again sharing defamatory and insulting content targeting her through online platforms.
The complaint was initially examined by Special Investigation Team (SIT) chief G. Poonguzhali IPS, following which it was handed over to the Thiruvananthapuram City Cyber Police for further action.

Earlier, the survivor’s husband had lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that Mamkootathil was responsible for destroying their family. Shortly after that complaint was filed, Rahul Easwar uploaded a new video on social media late in the evening.
In the video, Rahul Easwar reportedly claimed that the survivor’s allegations were false, among other statements. Following the circulation of the video, the survivor approached the police with a fresh complaint against him.
Rahul Easwar had earlier been arrested in connection with a case involving the harassment of the woman. He was taken into custody on November 30, 2025, and was granted bail by the court after completing 16 days in judicial remand.
The court had granted bail subject to strict conditions, including a directive that Rahul Easwar should not insult or harass the complainant in any manner.
