Kochi: A lawyer has sought permission from Registrar General and Advocate General to initiate a suo moto contempt case against SFI National President V.P. Sanu for his alleged personal remark targeting Justice Devan Ramachandran.
Adv K Rajan, who filed the remark, claimed that personal remarks aimed at Judges are vilifying the court and challenging the legal system.
VP Sanu has asserted that Justice Devan Ramachandran was just as submissive to the Union Government as previous Supreme Court justices. He continued by saying that the division bench had dismissed his anti-left orders because of this.
