Thiruvananthapuram: LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan claimed that the trade union activists did not block any passengers anywhere in the state as part of the nationwide strike. Taking a dig at the media, he rubbished the reports on violence triggered by the strike supporters in the state.

“No passenger was blocked anywhere in the state. Maybe media personnel restricted some passengers. The strike is being observed peacefully across the state. No one is hospitalised after getting injured in attacks. So far, the media has not reported any such incidents. The workers are observing the strike by sacrificing their daily wages. So, we should not defame the strike,” said Vijayaraghavan.
