Kozhikode: The General Manager of Southern Railway assured MP M.K Raghavan that the trains that were cancelled due to the maintenance work on the track will soon be reinstated. 

The complete cancellation of the Kozhikode-Shoranur Express Special train (06496) and the partial cancellation of the Thrissur-Kozhikode Express Special (unreserved, 06495) have been causing significant difficulties for travellers in the Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Thrissur districts. Raghavan intimated the same to the General Manager and development comes in this regard.
