With Kerala’s local body elections around the corner, electors have been offered a quicker digital route to complete the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) enumeration form. The online option makes the process easier from home, but strict prerequisites must be met before submission is allowed.

Before you begin: mandatory prerequisites

Electors must use the official online portal to fill the SIR form, and each individual may only complete the form for themselves. Two conditions are essential for completing the e-sign submission:

1. Mobile number must be linked to EPIC

Your mobile number must be linked with your EPIC (Elector Photo Identity Card). If it is not, you must submit Form 8 first to establish the link.

2. Exact name match required

The name on your EPIC (2025) must exactly match the name used by the Aadhaar-based e-sign tool. Any mismatch will prevent digital submission.

Electors who do not meet these requirements must submit the form manually through the local Booth Level Officer (BLO).

How to submit the SIR form online

If your mobile number is linked and the names match, you may proceed with the digital filing.
