Investigators also suspect that he may be connected to similar murders committed in Tamil Nadu.

Kollam, Kerala: Kollam Police suspect that a Tamil Nadu native wanted in the murder of an elderly homeless man in central Kollam may be a serial killer.
The victim, Rajendran of Mundakkal, was found dead after being attacked while sleeping outside a shop. Investigators believe the suspect may also be linked to the murder of a man in Parippally several months ago, as both killings were carried out in a similar manner.
Rajendran was murdered on May 25, just a few metres away from the Kollam City Commissioner’s Office. The owner of a nearby shop later submitted CCTV footage to the police, which has become a key part of the investigation. According to police officials, the probe is focused on a person believed to have links to Tamil Nadu. Investigators also suspect that he may be connected to similar murders committed in Tamil Nadu.
Despite intensive efforts, the Kollam City Police have so far been unable to apprehend the accused.
The victim, Rajendran, was an elderly man from Mundakkal who had been living on the streets and often slept in front of shops. The Parippally victim, Raveendran, was found murdered while sleeping inside an unoccupied building under construction.
Police have intensified their search for the suspect and are examining possible links between the killings in Kerala and similar unsolved cases in Tamil Nadu.
