Kochi: The School of Future (SOF) has signed an agreement with Lulu IT Twin Towers at SmartCity Kochi to establish a next-generation learning campus in the city.

Positioned as Kerala’s first school dedicated to founders and young leaders, SOF aims to prepare students for a rapidly changing world shaped by artificial intelligence, global markets and emerging industries.

The institution was founded by Tom Joseph, Akshay Muralidharan and Coomar Prantik Barua. The founders say the initiative will bring industry-led learning and global exposure at a time when traditional education models are struggling to keep pace with evolving workplace demands.

The campus at the Lulu IT Twin Towers is planned as an innovation-focused learning hub with facilities including podcast studios, a learning amphitheatre, AI-enabled workspaces and collaboration zones. The space will also host regular interactions with startup founders and industry operators.

SOF’s flagship PGP + MBA programme will combine hands-on learning with mentorship from industry practitioners. The programme will offer two tracks: a Founders Track, providing access to an investment pool for venture creation, and a Management Track, designed to prepare students for management careers, with pathways that could include roles starting at ₹15 lakh per annum.

Tom Joseph, co-founder of SOF and associated with Jain University, said the collaboration would help build a learning environment closely connected to industry needs and future opportunities.

Abdul Rehman, chief operating officer of Lulu IT Parks, said SOF joining the Lulu IT Twin Towers campus reflects the organisation’s goal of creating an ecosystem where learning, innovation and industry operate together.

With the initiative, Kochi is expected to further strengthen its position as an emerging innovation hub in South India. SOF plans to welcome its first cohort of students in July 2026.
