At the recently concluded Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MBIFL 2025), globe-trotting entrepreneur Santhosh George Kulangara took part in a fun and candid conversation with Club FM’s RJ Chichu. During the interaction, Kulangara shared intriguing answers to the question of which celebrity he would like to travel with, should the opportunity arise.

The conversation began with a question from RJ Chichu about travelling with Malayalam superstar Mammootty. Without skipping a beat, Kulangara revealed that he would love to travel with Mammootty on a grand journey—from the southern tip of Africa to the northern reaches of Siberia.

Next up, RJ Chichu asked about the possibility of travelling with US President Donald Trump. Kulangara’s answer was equally intriguing—he would choose to head to Pattaya beach with Trump.

Kulangara was asked about travelling with actor and minster Suresh Gopi. He joked that if he ever took a trip with Gopi, he would probably end up on a never-ending journey. Kulangara quipped that Gopi would want to accompany him on every single trip that followed.

The conversation then shifted to food, with RJ Chichu asking about travelling with popular Malayalam food vlogger Firoz Chuttipara. Kulangara shared his vision of taking Chuttipara to Cambodia, where the food blogger could dive into the country’s rich and exotic food culture.

Kim Jong Un: The secretive North Korea
In one of the more surprising answers, Kulangara was asked about travelling with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. He explained that, given the mysterious nature of the country, he would feel most comfortable visiting North Korea with the leader himself.

Mohammad Riyas: Inspiration from Bali for Kerala Tourism
Lastly, Kulangara shared his desire to travel with Kerala’s Tourism Minister Mohammad Riyas to the stunning Bali islands. He expressed that the beauty and innovation of Bali’s tourism experience could inspire new ideas for Kerala’s own tourism industry, and the journey could offer fresh perspectives for enhancing Kerala as a travel destination.
