Sabarimala: Most mobile networks except BSNL do not have any coverage at Sannidhanam.

Usually, all mobile networks have strong signal at Sabarimala and Sannidhanam. However, most networks except BSNL are all but useless since Wednesday, pilgrims said.

“We cannot make calls or use internet using our phones. Despite registering numerous complaints with the customer care, no action has been taken to rectify the problem,” the pilgrims said.

As the Makaravilakku pilgrimage season is underway, there is a huge rush of devotees at Sabarimala temple. Meanwhile, mobile phone theft from devotees is also increasing at Pampa.
