Nedumbassery: Renowned nephrologist and senior surgeon Dr. George P. Abraham was found dead in his farmhouse in Nedumbassery on Sunday night. The 64-year-old was discovered hanging, and police suspect it to be a case of suicide.

Dr. Abraham, a senior surgeon in the nephrology department at a private hospital in Ernakulam, had arrived at his farmhouse in Thuruthissery on Sunday evening along with his brother. After some time, he sent his brother away and chose to stay back alone.

According to preliminary information, the doctor had been dealing with health issues.
