Rapper Vedan is set to get married. The bride is writer Navami Latha. The wedding will take place in Thrissur on February 24. Vedan said it will be a simple ceremony and a registered marriage.

He shared the news at the Happiness Festival organised by the Kerala government in Kannur as part of Local Self-Government Day celebrations.

Vedan had arrived to perform at the festival. On stage, CPM state secretary MV Govindan honoured him with a shawl. While speaking, it was MV Govindan who first revealed the news of Vedan’s upcoming wedding.

Later, during his reply speech, Vedan confirmed the happy news. “As sir mentioned, on February 24 I’m going to have a register marriage. It’s my wedding,” he said.

Navami Latha and Vedan have been in a relationship for a long time. Navami often accompanies him to public events. She was with him in Thiruvananthapuram when he received the State Film Award for Best Lyricist. At the time, Navami shared a photo with Vedan on Instagram captioning it “Pondatti” (wife).
