Police suspect he communicated questions to an accomplice outside, who fed him answers

Kannur: A man was taken into custody on Saturday for allegedly cheating during a State Public Service Commission (PSC) examination in Kannur district, police reported. The accused, identified as N P Mohammed Sahad from Peralassery, is suspected of using a concealed headset and camera to communicate exam questions to an accomplice outside, who then relayed the answers back to him.
The incident occurred at a government school in Payyambalam during the PSC exam. An invigilator noticed the suspicious activity and alerted the PSC vigilance team, along with local police. When Sahad tried to escape the exam hall, the police pursued and apprehended him.
Kannur Town police confirmed his custody and said he was brought to the police station, with his arrest expected to be formally recorded soon.
