Kannur: Minister for electricity MM Mani on Friday warned the activists and PSC candidates who are staging protests against the state government alleging backdoor appointments.

“Government has nothing to fear. Government has never done or will do any favour accepting bribe. All the appointment procedures are through proper channel. But Oommen Chandy government had made many backdoor appointments,” Mani said.

He also warned the protesters not to threaten the government with protests.
