Kochi: Police are taking stringent action against businessman Boby Chemmanur, who was arrested on charges of sexual harassment. They are also investigating other offensive comments made by Boby, including lewd remarks posted on his YouTube channel. They have presented a video of these remarks to the court and are preparing to record actress Honey Rose’s statement once again.
As Boby’s bail application is set to be considered on Tuesday, police are working to prevent his release. The police have stated that his lewd remarks are not limited to just one instance. They say there is evidence of similar comments being made about multiple people, including on his YouTube channel. Based on this, they are seeking to oppose Boby's bail.

If additional victims come forward with complaints similar to Honey Rose, police are ready to file further FIRs. Boby has been charged under Sections 75(1) and 75(4) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the IT Act, for inappropriate physical contact and spreading obscene content online. Honey Rose had also accused him of following her, which could lead to additional charges if further evidence is found.
According to the police, these actions are crucial in building a strong case against Boby. They believe that the actions taken against him are justified. Honey Rose has also stated that the number of abusive comments on her social media profile has decreased as a result of these actions.
