Kochi: The police are initiating steps to arrest the third accused in the incident in which  MLA Uma Thomas fell from the stage and got injured. The third accused in the case is P.S. Janeesh, the owner of Oscar Event Management, a native of Poothole, Thrissur.  The police are proceeding with the arrest after he failed to appear before the investigating officer on Thursday, despite the Kerala High Court's direction to be present before the officer. 

While granting anticipatory bail to Nigosh Kumar and Janeesh, the third accused in the case in which Uma Thomas MLA had fallend down from the stage and got injured, Kerala High Court had directed them to be present before the investigating officer on Thursday. Subsequently, Nigosh Kumar, the Managing Director of Mridanga Vision, appeared for questioning, and the police recorded his arrest. He will be produced in court today. However, Janeesh failed to appear, citing health issues.

The police have filed a case of cheating against Nigosh Kumar, CEO A. Shamir, Poornima, and Nigosh Kumar’s wife. Earlier, a case of attempted murder was also filed against five people, including Nigosh Kumar and Shameer.
