Thiruvananthapuram: The police have intensified their search to nab a duo that reportedly stalks young girls and frequent school zones.
According to police, two unidentified men roam Neyyattinkara, Kattakada and Poovar areas on their bikes and tease young girls.
The men allegedly stop girls on the road, ask them their names, profess their love and ask for their contact number and Instagram ID. The incident came to light after the girls from Neyattinkkara informed their parents about this nuisance.
Following investigations, it became apparent that the accused had been causing similar nuisances in various parts of Thiruvananthapuram. Police also collected CCTV footage of the duo from different locations.
The perpetrators roam on a bike sans license plates and cover their faces with masks. One of the men dons an unusual helmet. They first befriend the boys of the school and gather information about the girls before stalking them.
