
Pathanamthitta: PB Nooh IAS appeared in a Facebook Live to thank Pathanamthitta natives ahead of officially stepping down from his office as the District Collector.
He said that he was able to work with the public during the 2018, 2019 floods, 2019 Lok Sabha election, Sabarimala issue and the pandemic during his tenure. He said that everyone did everything to the best of their abilities although many of the crises took place for the first time in the history.
Nooh also stated that the reason why he appeared live on Facebook was to thank all those who helped and cooperated with him in his many endeavours as the District Collector and also to address everyone in the district for one more time.
PB Nooh thanked all the government departments, officials, MPs and MLAs who helped him perform his duties to the best of his abilities. He said he was helped by around 10,000 volunteers to serve 13 lakh people in the district.
Nooh conveyed his gratitude for everyone in the district for giving him the experience and life lessons that he can never forget in his life.
He added that this experience taught him that he can confront any crisis in his life and that all his work was rewarded when hundreds of people visited him in the last few days.
