Malappuram: The son-in-law of Panakkad Hyder Ali Thangal participated in the Nava Kerala Sadas meeting held in Malappuram district. Former DCC member and former block member C Moideen also attended the morning meeting in Tirur. Both spoke at the meeting. 

Haseeb Zakaf Thangal is the husband of Thangal’s daughter but is not a member of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML).

Four UDF leaders were present in the Kozhikode district programme yesterday. Congress block committee member N Abubacker, UDF Koduvally election committee convener Madhavan Namboothiri, Muslim League ward committee president V.K Moithu Muttayi and Koduvally constituency League secretary U.K Hussain participated in the Sadas yesterday. 

Abubacker was suspended by the Congress for participating in the Nava Kerala Sadas. U,K Hussain and Moithu Muttayi have also been suspended from IUML pending investigation, party state committee informed.
