Palakkad: CPM state secretariat asserted that RSS-BJP activists are behind the murder of Malampuzha CPM local committee member Shajahan and urged the public to realise the ‘fake propaganda’ being spread.
The state secretariat alleged that the accused have close ties with the drug mafia and criminal groups. All the key suspects behind the murder are accused of many other similar crimes. CPM party workers, under Shajahan, had questioned the criminal activists, including drug dealing of these gangs which culminated in the attack. RSS and BJP groups were creating ruckus here and they were waiting for a suitable chance to attack Shajahan, observed the state secretariat.
CPM alleged that the RSS gang attempted to place a flex board of Sree Krishna Jayanti replacing the flex board installed by Shajahan to congratulate the students who aced the SSLC examination in the region. Shajahan was hacked following a clash that broke out over the flex board, it said in the statement.
Seventeen CPM activists were killed by RSS within the past 6 years in Kerala, the ruling party said. The CPM activists are targeted as RSS realised that CPM is the only party that resists the communal politics unleashed by RSS in the state, noted the CPM state secretariat. It also accused that RSS aims to create riots in the state by infringing the law and order system here.
