Less than a month ahead of the crucial West Bengal Assembly Elections 2026, brutal murder in Raidighi triggers political storm as BJP claims slain youth was its worker, raising questions over law and order.

Raidighi: A chilling murder has rocked South 24 Parganas after a young man was found dead with his throat slit in Raidighi on Tuesday morning, triggering panic in the area and a swift political confrontation.
The victim has been identified as Kishor Majhi. His body was recovered from the Mena area under Booth No. 216 of Dighirpar Gram Panchayat in the Raidighi Assembly constituency.
