Raidighi: A chilling murder has rocked South 24 Parganas after a young man was found dead with his throat slit in Raidighi on Tuesday morning, triggering panic in the area and a swift political confrontation.

The victim has been identified as Kishor Majhi. His body was recovered from the Mena area under Booth No. 216 of Dighirpar Gram Panchayat in the Raidighi Assembly constituency.

Soon after the recovery, tensions escalated as political parties traded accusations over the incident. The BJP has claimed that Majhi was an active worker of the party, alleging political motives behind the killing.
