New Delhi: Madhav was excited to go back home. Even though his parents were not with him, he was happy to be accompanied by friend Gourilakshmi and her mother Aswathy. On Wednesday, when Madhav reached the New Delhi airport at 3.30 pm, uncle Aneesh was waiting for them.

Madhav and Gouri were handed over a packet of ‘Lays’ by Aneesh. Madhav put the packet to his face and showed Gouri the moustache picture on the packet.

Seeing both the children, Aneesh and Aswathy couldn’t contain themselves.

The second-standard student Madhav has not yet been informed that his parents and younger brother will never return to his side. They died in a resort room in Nepal. Madhav is the elder son of deceased Ranjith and Indulakshmi. Their younger son Vaishnav also died in the tragedy.

The bodies after autopsy have been kept at the Tribhuvan University hospital in Kathmandu. Madhav reached Delhi along with his father’s friend Jayakrishnan’s wife Aswathy and her daughter.

Aneesh, a soldier in Indian Army and Indu’s brother-in-law, was waiting for them at the airport since afternoon.

Madhav, unaware of the tragedy that hit him, gleefully boarded the next flight home. He reached Kochi by midnight.
