Kochi: Broker T G Nandakumar has made new revelations, asserting that he has engaged in numerous meetings with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, backed by evidence of alleged phone messages. Addressing the media, Nandakumar was ready to divulge the communications if need arises.

Reiterating his earlier claim, Nandakumar asserted that the CM had sought assistance from him during the pendency of the Lavalin case in the High Court. However, he clarified that the call was placed not from the phone of Kerala Congress leader Skariah Thomas, as previously stated, but from a device registered under the name of Gopi, a party leader based in Kolkata.

Nandakumar recounted an instance where Pinarayi had reached out to Kairali Channel to retract a defamatory news. Expressing admiration for the CM’s character, Nandakumar described him as affectionate and sincere.

Nandakumar also asserted that the CPM will not take any disciplinary action against EP Jayarajan. Regarding the purported meeting between Jayarajan and Prakash Javadekar, Nandakumar disclosed that the meeting occurred due to a security oversight, after which Jayarajan proceeded to attend a party gathering. Details of Javadekar's visit have been disseminated to relevant parties by Jayarajan, said Nandakumar.

Nandakumar also suggested that Sobha Surendran would have been selected as the LDF candidate in the previous assembly elections had Aji Krishnan of HRDS not intervened.
