Alappuzha: The motor vehicle department has said that the death of a man in a car explosion in Mavelikkara on Sunday midnight was unnatural. The department says the possibility of a short circuit is marginal in the particular accident.
“In case if it was a short circuit that led to the accident, the fire would have spread from the engine parts to the backside of the car. But here, the engine looks completely fine. There is absolutely no damage. The wires and fuses are intact. This is a case of unnatural death. There was a cigarette lamp in the car, and Krishna Prakash was someone who used an inhaler,” said an official from the motor vehicle department.
