Dubai: The mystery behind the death of Rifa Mehnu, 21, a Malayalee YouTuber and vlogger in Dubai, is still unknown. The Kozhikode native was found dead in her flat in Karama here on Monday night.
The investigating officials have not reached any conclusion on the reason behind the untimely demise of Rifa. The body, which was brought to Kozhikode from Dubai, was buried on Thursday.
Hours before she was found dead, Rifa had a video chat at around 9 pm with her parents along with her two-year-old son from her workplace. Only on the next day was the family came to know about her suicide.
Relatives said that Rifa had no reason to commit suicide. The body was brought back to Kozhikode by her husband Mehnaz. It was also found that there were no family issues between Rifa and Mehnaz. However, it is learnt that the couple had a conversion over Rifa's late return from office on the night of the suicide.
