Do you expect complete audience in every single session? The claim that the conclave was a failure is just media propaganda. Lies were spread shamelessly

Thiruvananthapuram: The Ayyappa Sangamam was a world-renowned success, said CPM state secretary MV Govindan. More than 4,000 people attended the event. He added that the claim of poor participation was false propaganda by the media. When asked about the empty chairs in the venue, Govindan countered: “If needed, can’t you even create it by AI ?”
“Do you expect complete audience in every single session? The claim that the conclave was a failure is just media propaganda. Lies were spread shamelessly,” Govindan said.
“There were 4,600 people at the Ayyappa Summit. Isn’t that enough? We expected only 3,000. It is media fabrication. A lie needs at least some basis. The Devaswom Board had decided to allow 3,000 people. But 4,600 attended. If that is considered a shortage, then let it be so. To keep telling such absurd lies, don’t you need some shame? If needed, you can even use AI to create empty chairs. You can use AI. You people will make up anything,” Govindan said.
“The Ayyappa Sangamam was a great success. A world-famous success. People have seen it. 4,600 people participated. If you want to cut it down to 460, then you’ll have to put in some extra effort. For that, you may use whatever tools you want. You can make it however you wish,” MV Govindan added.
