Muvattupuzha: In an unfortunate incident, a couple faced moral policing at the hands of two strangers at Valakom on Monday night. 

Denit and his wife Reeni alleged that two men stopped their car before damaging the rear-view mirror and number plate. They claimed that the men also verbally abused them. 

The incident happened on Kunnaikal road near Valakom CTC junction at 10:30 PM on Monday. The couple stopped the car after their five-month-old child started to cry. 

The accused, who came on a bike, abused the couple and nearly stopped them from leaving the place. Further, they damaged the car, demanding them to exit the vehicle. The accused absconded after the couple contacted the police. Police said the accused were identified and will be soon arrested.
