
Kozhikode: The investigation team has obtained CCTV footage of the 13-year-old boy who went missing from Vedavyasa Sainik School here. The footage shows Sanskar Kumar, a native of Bihar, at Palakkad railway station’s platform number four and the waiting area.
The visuals, captured at 11.15 am on March 24, indicate that the boy may have left Kerala. Following this lead, police have expanded their search to Pune and Jharkhand.
The boy had been missing for the past five days. It is reported that he escaped from the first floor of the hostel at around 1 am by climbing down using a cable and then jumping onto a bed before making his way out.
Reports suggest that he had around Rs 2,000 in his possession.
