Adoor (Pathanamthitta): Youth arrested for raping a minor girl, whom he kidnapped while she was walking with her mother here. Kollam native B S Siddharth aka Sreekuttan (22) was arrested by Adoor Police based on a complaint filed by the girl's mother. 

The girl was coming on foot with her mother to Adoor town on the evening of March 28, when the youth who had previous acquaintance with the girl, reached there on a bike, took the girl and fled. According to the police, the youth took the girl to his friend’s house, convincing him that the girl was of 22 years old, and raped her then.

As per the instruction of Adoor DYSP R Jayaraj, the police team, led by R Rajeev, made the arrest.
