A man accused in a POCSO case allegedly killed the minor complainant, her mother and grandmother in Telangana's Rangareddy district before murdering his own wife and two children. Police are searching for the accused.

A man facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act is accused of carrying out a gruesome killing spree in Telangana's Rangareddy district, allegedly murdering the minor girl who had accused him, along with her mother and grandmother, before returning home and killing his own wife and two children. The shocking sequence of events has triggered a large-scale police search after the suspect fled the scene.
Investigators say the accused, identified as Raju Kumar (35), was previously arrested in a POCSO case involving the minor victim and had been released on bail. Police believe the attack unfolded late on Friday under the jurisdiction of Shahbad Police Station, leaving six people dead across two households.
According to the preliminary investigation, the accused allegedly first targeted the minor girl, her mother and grandmother at their residence in Shahbad. He is then suspected of returning to his own home, where he allegedly killed his wife and their two children.
Police said the accused later called his parents, claiming he had killed members of both families and intended to end his own life. Alarmed by the call, his parents immediately informed the police, prompting officers to launch an extensive search operation.
Confirming the incident, a police official said the accused allegedly killed six people.
Officials said the suspect remains absconding and multiple police teams have been deployed to locate and arrest him. The motive behind the killings is being investigated, although police are examining whether the pending POCSO case was linked to the alleged crime.
