Thiruvananthapuram: The 13-year-old girl who went missing from Kazhakkoottam was spotted in Kanyakumari on Wednesday. 

According to reports, autorickshaw drivers saw the girl around 5:30 a.m. The search is currently concentrated around the railway station and other popular tourist spots in Kanyakumari. Meanwhile, police suspect that the girl may have traveled to Chennai, where her brother is employed.

Tamil Nadu Police have joined forces with Kerala Police to broaden the search for the missing girl. Authorities, including police officials and the Railway Protection Force (RPF), are also reviewing CCTV footage from the railway station.

Tasmeeth Tamsam, daughter of Assam native Anwar Hussain, who resides near the Kazhakkoottam block office, was last seen around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Her parents reported her missing to the police at 4 pm, prompting an investigation that included a review of CCTV footage.

Meanwhile, the latest information is that the child has gone to Kanyakumari. A passenger on the train from Thampanoor to Kanyakumari informed the police that she saw a girl matching Tasmeek's description on the train on Tuesday. The passenger, noticing the girl crying, took a photograph of her and later shared it with the police. The father confirmed that the picture was of his daughter.
