Thiruvananthapuram: The results of the opinion poll, jointly conducted by Mathrubhumi News and P-MARQ (Politique Marquer), show that UDF has an upper hand in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Malappuram constituencies. Meanwhile, the survey says LDF is poised to win the Palakkad and Vadakara seats.

At the same time, the survey highlights that UDF and LDF are expected to have close competition in Mavelikkara.

The first set of results of the opinion poll were unveiled on Tuesday. The results, covering seven Lok Sabha constituencies, suggest that the UDF is poised for success in Kerala.

As per the poll, the UDF is set to secure victories in Thiruvananthapuram, Kasaragod, Attingal, Chalakudy, Wayanad, and Kollam constituencies. Notably, the survey foresees an LDF triumph in Kannur, the sitting seat of UDF.

It may be noted that these results stem from a survey conducted between March 3 and 17, with 25,821 participants.
