The Mathrubhumi Election Bus hits the road from Parassala to Manjeshwaram to capture the shifting political sentiments across Kerala.

Thiruvananthapuram: To gauge the pulse of the public as they prepare for the upcoming elections, the ‘Mathrubhumi Election Bus’ has commenced its journey. The bus will travel from Parassala, the southernmost assembly constituency in Kerala, to Manjeshwaram at the northern tip.
The maiden voyage began on Saturday morning from the Kumbichalkadavu Bridge in Amboori, a hilly village within the Parassala constituency. After passing through various constituencies in the Thiruvananthapuram district, the first day’s journey concluded at Varkala.
Prominent figures including LDF candidate and Minister V Sivankutty from Nemom, and UDF candidate K S Sabarinadhan, joined as passengers. BJP candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar also visited the election bus team.
The first debate was held at the Sivagiri Grounds on Saturday evening. Representatives from the three major political fronts participated in the discussion, which covered topics ranging from regional development to the current political climate. The journey is scheduled to enter the Kollam district on Tuesday, with a debate planned in Adoor.
The Mathrubhumi Election Bus journey will conclude in Manjeshwaram on March 30.
