Thiruvananthapuram: Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA expressed scepticism about the investigation into the CMRL Exalogic case, stating, "There is no hope in the investigation, and the Center is protecting Veena Vijayan."
His remarks came during a media interaction in Muvattupuzha after the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) recorded the statements of Veena Vijayan, daughter of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, in the case.
"Despite a flood of evidence in the monthly pay-off case, the union government's actions seem aimed at helping Veena Vijayan. If the union government had taken this matter seriously, the ED would have initiated an investigation," he stated.
"The union government is announcing that it is taking up the investigation at a stage where had a verdict been reached based on the facts presented to the High Court, it would have dealt a significant blow to Exalogic, the Chief Minister's daughter, and ultimately the Chief Minister," he said.
