Mani C Kappan met PK Kunhalikutty and affirmed he won`t give up the Pala MLA seat, even if Kerala Congress (M) joins UDF.

Malappuram: Muslim League leader PK Kunhalikutty held a meeting with Kerala Democratic Party leader and Pala MLA Mani C Kappan. The meeting took place at Kunhalikutty’s residence in Vengara, Malappuram, at around 9 am on Wednesday.
The meeting gained significance amid reports that Kerala Congress (M) may leave the LDF and join UDF.
If Kerala Congress (M) joins the UDF, it is likely to demand the Pala seat. This could create a headache for sitting MLA Mani C Kappan. Sources indicate that while Mani C Kappan has no objection to Kerala Congress (M) joining the UDF, he made it clear during the meeting that he will not give up the Pala seat.
Within the UDF, the Muslim League contests the Thiruvambady seat. It is reported that if Jose and his group join the front, the League may give up Thiruvambady for them.
